How to care for your cakes & cupcakes
Here at As Cute as A Cupcake, we use the freshest ingredients; never utilising any preservatives or (box)cake mixes.
This gives the average freshness life span of our cakes and cupcakes to be about 3 -5 days.
Approaching the end of these days, these items can be placed in the fridge in an airtight container or ziplock bag; after which they can be quickly warmed in the microwave for 10 - 15 seconds.
Our recommendations:

Consume the product the same day as you receive them to enjoy the maximum freshness

DO NOT refrigerate your cupcakes or cakes as soon as you receive them. It will dry them out at a very rapid rate and melt any sugarwork.

DO refrigerate your cupcakes (until serving time) if they are filled, contain cream cheese or unbaked fruit. This is for your safety.

Serve at room temperature for optimum enjoyment.

If you plan to wait more than 3 days before serving your cupcakes or cakes, place them in the freezer. Tightly wrap the box in plastic wrap or transfer the cupcakes/cakes to an airtight container before freezing. They should be good for at least a month packaged this way. Before consuming, be sure to bring them back to room temperature.
Transport:

They come packaged for the trip, but travel can be tricky if you drive on Barbados' roads or like a mad person.

Sit the box on a flat surface such as the floor of your car (preferably for tiered cakes)or car seat.

For cupcakes: Don’t hold the box on your lap; it’s almost always a bad idea. For cakes, we recommend the opposite.

Take stops and turns carefully to avoid shifting and movement.

Do not leave them in heat or direct sunlight to avoid melting or sweating
