About Us

Based in Barbados, As Cute As a Cupcake was designed to make you want to indulge a little, with our lineup of gourmet cupcakes, customised cakes, and decadent desserts. We also cater to dietary restrictions.

As Cute As a Cupcake was brought to life by two creative chefs who travelled and worked in Europe and the U.S. wanting to bring the excitement that food gives back home to Barbados and share it among people who like to take their palate on a journey.

Originally Culinary trained, these two chefs have found a love for the Pastry and Dessert side as well. Not to mention each other. Yes... they are married. Chefs Joanna and Edwin Griffith are a duo who are passionate about service and food excellence.

They both have their Bachelor's Degree in Culinary Arts from Johnson & Wales University in Miami and have trained in Germany and Florida honing their skills. They have also been a part of the local food and beverage industry training from several places such as Sandy Lane and Hilton Barbados.

Returning home, they decided to be more well-rounded and tackle the pastry side of being a chef, and with a lot of dedication involved, As Cute As A Cupcake was born!

"Food and service is our passion here at As Cute As A Cupcake and we work very hard to translate it to your experience. We hope it makes your day a little sweeter. After all what's life without indulging a little?"
